Top 5 Best Cryptos to Watch in 2025: New Surprise Token Joins Ethereum, XRP, Solana, and Dogecoin Among Market Favorites

The crypto market was already set to have one of its most active years. Institutional investment, exchange-traded fund (ETF) listings, and renewed retail interest have revived the major projects, including Ethereum, XRP, Solana, and Dogecoin. However, there has been a new player among OG holders: the one behind the meme that is building real utility and a large community: Little Pepe (LILPEPE).

Ethereum (ETH): Institutions Quietly Buying the Dip

Ethereum remains the base layer of decentralised finance, and we are now seeing institutions slowly building positions. Blockchain firm BitMine has purchased 7,660 ETH for USD 29 million from Galaxy Digital. It follows a trend of accumulation by large holders and a lack of retail buying, and analysts say this divergence is the first sign of a price breakout when sentiment improves.

On-chain indicators are also encouraging for retail traders adopting a watch-and-see approach, including ETH staked, the use of Layer 2 networks, and the Fusaka upgrade to increase scalability and liquidity. Analysts believe ETH should rise above $5,000 around late 2025. The current trade value is near $3,780. Supply does not meet demand. Institutional adoption is also increasing.

XRP: Poised for Breakout as Accumulation Builds

Although XRP has been in a prolonged consolidation phase this year, on-chain data paints a much different picture of accumulation. The number of tokens leaving exchanges has increased by 11.4% over just one week, suggesting that large holders have withdrawn. XRP currently trades at around $2.53, just below $2.54, which is the resistance level many consider the so-called "glory zone" for a sharp breakout.

Should buyers overcome this strong support at $2.57, XRP is expected to climb to the $2.80 - $3.10 range, as the falling wedge on the chart narrows. Ripple remains the leading choice for regulated cross-border payments and tokenised asset settlement, and though XRP isn't moving quickly, the accumulation suggests that the next major moves are coming soon.

Solana (SOL): ETF Launch Sparks Record Inflows

Solana's most significant achievement to date has been the launch of the Bitwise Staking Solana ETF (BSOL), which raised $417 million in the first week, the highest for any crypto fund to date. This ensures that Solana is part of any crypto asset allocation beyond just Bitcoin and Ethereum.

In August 2023, the SOL price fell slightly to $184.88. The chain's fundamental indicators remained strong, with over $40 billion of user assets locked in Solana-based applications. The Solana blockchain offers a low-cost, high-speed infrastructure that is ideal for facilitating tokenized asset issuance and stablecoin settlements, making it a top bet for 2025, analysts said.

Dogecoin (DOGE): Cultural Icon Eyes $0.50 Rebound

Dogecoin, touted as the internet's favourite meme coin, may gain even more prominence in mainstream sport as House of Doge recently announced that it would sponsor Italian soccer club U.S. Triestina Calcio 1918. Shiba is the logo of the Shiba Inu dog breed and of Dogecoin. The logo will be emblazoned on players' jerseys and in the stadium.

Nevertheless, DOGE's chart remains mixed, trading around $0.1851, with market analysts noting that the $0.218 resistance level is the key breakout level that could push DOGE towards $0.50. The trade volume may not provide sufficient energy to sustain the rally. Although its branding is unmatched, Dogecoin must continue to find new catalysts beyond visibility and fandom to maintain its success.

Little Pepe (LILPEPE): The Wildcard Turning Heads

Another new meme coin to explode in 2025 is Little Pepe (LILPEPE). Already boasting a price tag of less than $0.003, the coin raised over $27 million in its presale and has delivered returns of 120% across the board. However, unlike other meme coins, $LILPEPE aims to develop an EVM-compatible Layer 2 blockchain for traders and creators that is entirely cost-free, safeguards against sniper bots, and is built on a CertiK-audited framework.

With the $777k Giveaway and the 15 ETH Mega Event ongoing, attracting thousands of new investors every week, a loyal community, real infrastructure, and a highly professional and fun brand, LILPEPE is the next major project poised to deliver exponential returns to its investors.

Final Takeaway

Ethereum has become the standard for institutional adoption. XRP offers the most viable solution for payments. Solana boasts the fastest blockchain speed, while Dogecoin is the world's most popular meme-coin. Little Pepe (LILPEPE) combines the best elements of each of these world-class projects into one. The single hottest crypto story of 2025 is going to be LILPEPE. Join the Little Pepe presale now and be part of one of the most promising early-stage crypto communities before it sells out.

SEC Backs Nasdaq, CBOE, NYSE Push to Simplify Crypto ETF Rules

SEC Backs Nasdaq, CBOE, NYSE Push to Simplify Crypto ETF Rules

The US SEC on Wednesday approved new listing rules for major exchanges, paving the way for a surge of crypto spot exchange-traded funds. On Wednesday, the regulator voted to let Nasdaq, Cboe BZX and NYSE Arca adopt generic listing standards for commodity-based trust shares. The decision clears the final hurdle for asset managers seeking to launch spot ETFs tied to cryptocurrencies beyond Bitcoin and Ether. In July, the SEC outlined how exchanges could bring new products to market under the framework. Asset managers and exchanges must now meet specific criteria, but will no longer need to undergo drawn-out case-by-case reviews. Solana And XRP Funds Seen to Be First In Line Under the new system, the time from filing to launch can shrink to as little as 75 days, compared with up to 240 days or more under the old rules. “This is the crypto ETP framework we’ve been waiting for,” Bloomberg research analyst James Seyffart said on X, predicting a wave of new products in the coming months. The first filings likely to benefit are those tracking Solana and XRP, both of which have sat in limbo for more than a year. SEC Chair Paul Atkins said the approval reflects a commitment to reduce barriers and foster innovation while maintaining investor protections. The move comes under the administration of President Donald Trump, which has signaled strong support for digital assets after years of hesitation during the Biden era. New Standards Replace Lengthy Reviews And Repeated Denials Until now, the commission reviewed each application separately, requiring one filing from the exchange and another from the asset manager. This dual process often dragged on for months and led to repeated denials. Even Bitcoin spot ETFs, finally approved in Jan. 2024, arrived only after years of resistance and a legal battle with Grayscale. According to Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas, the streamlined rules could apply to any cryptocurrency with at least six months of futures trading on the Coinbase Derivatives Exchange. That means more than a dozen tokens may now qualify for listing, potentially unleashing a new wave of altcoin ETFs. SEC Clears Grayscale Large Cap Fund Tracking CoinDesk 5 Index The SEC also approved the Grayscale Digital Large Cap Fund, which tracks the CoinDesk 5 Index, including Bitcoin, Ether, XRP, Solana and Cardano. Alongside this, it cleared the launch of options linked to the Cboe Bitcoin US ETF Index and its mini contract, broadening the set of crypto-linked derivatives on regulated US markets. Analysts say the shift shows how far US policy has moved. Where once regulators resisted digital assets, the latest changes show a growing willingness to bring them into the mainstream financial system under established safeguards

New Trump appointee Miran calls for half-point cut in only dissent as rest of Fed bands together

New Trump appointee Miran calls for half-point cut in only dissent as rest of Fed bands together

The post New Trump appointee Miran calls for half-point cut in only dissent as rest of Fed bands together appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Stephen Miran, chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers and US Federal Reserve governor nominee for US President Donald Trump, arrives for a Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee confirmation hearing in Washington, DC, US, on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025. The Senate Banking Committee’s examination of Stephen Miran’s appointment will provide the first extended look at how prominent Republican senators balance their long-standing support of an independent central bank against loyalty to their party leader. Photographer: Daniel Heuer/Bloomberg via Getty Images Daniel Heuer | Bloomberg | Getty Images Newly-confirmed Federal Reserve Governor Stephen Miran dissented from the central bank’s decision to lower the federal funds rate by a quarter percentage point on Wednesday, choosing instead to call for a half-point cut. Miran, who was confirmed by the Senate to the Fed Board of Governors on Monday, was the sole dissenter in the Federal Open Market Committee’s statement. Governors Michelle Bowman and Christopher Waller, who had dissented at the Fed’s prior meeting in favor of a quarter-point move, were aligned with Fed Chair Jerome Powell and the others besides Miran this time. Miran was selected by Trump back in August to fill the seat that was vacated by former Governor Adriana Kugler after she suddenly announced her resignation without stating a reason for doing so. He has said that he will take an unpaid leave of absence as chair of the White House’s Council of Economic Advisors rather than fully resign from the position. Miran’s place on the board, which will last until Jan. 31, 2026 when Kugler’s term was due to end, has been viewed by critics as a threat from Trump to the Fed’s independence, as the president has nominated three of the seven members. Trump also said in August that he had fired Federal Reserve Board Governor…
