Aftershocks following the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Mindanao on Monday have reached at least 1,352, of which 35 were felt, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) on Tuesday.

The aftershocks were logged across 391 areas, with magnitudes ranging from 1.3 to 6.4, PHIVOLCS told reporters via Viber as of 5:00 p.m.

In the past few hours, at least two magnitude-5.0 aftershocks were reported by PHIVOLCS.

One of these was recorded at 4:15 p.m. offshore of Sarangani Island, Sarangani.

Intensity II was reported in Malapatan, Sarangani following the tremor, while Intensity I was reported in Digos City and Matanao, Davao del Sur, as well as in Santa Maria, Davao Occidental. — Edg Adrian A. Eva
