Stationery lovers unite: CzipVillage returns with more analog creativity goodness this weekend at One Bangsar (VIDEO)

KUALA LUMPUR, June 13 — If you enjoyed last year’s CzipVillage, a festival dedicated to the love of stationery and journalling, you’ll be glad to know it’s back this weekend, June 13 and 14.

Happening at The Venue @ONE Bangsar, it’s walking distance from Bangsar Village and just across the road from Chicken and Beer (if you suddenly feel like either).

Over two days, you can browse various wares from the exhibitors with a common theme being “You Are The Living Archive.”

Revolving around four key pillars, Market, Record, Create and Gather, personally crafted by the team at CzipLee, it’s about taking your time, being in the moment and creating “meaningful memories.”

Basically, from my understanding of the event, is that you are expected to, instead of just walking around the venue looking at booths and maybe shopping, the idea of it is to create a record of that journey.

For those who are new to journaling or need fresh ideas, CzipVillage offers that and... stamps.

Rubber stamp events are all the rage these days so if you’re one of those stamp hunters, yes, there will be free stamps for you to collect as well as plenty of choices of stamps for you to buy for your own collection.

For the fifth year running, CzipLee is collaborating with Sumthings of Mine, the journalling and stationery lifestyle store behind the SOMe Market.

Also at the event will be AACE & Kawan Guni, who will be the event’s community and sustainability impact partner, Cultprint, the print studio co-founded by noted mural artist Ernest Zacharevic and Sheena Liam.

Oatbedient and Universal Bakehouse will also be on site as collaborators so look out for their booths should you feel the urge for a snack or drink.

Stationery partners such as Campus by KOKUYO, PILOT, Loka Made, STAEDTLER, Shachihata and ZEBRA will also be in attendance.
