XRP is trading near $1.05 after a wave of technical signals and a high-profile prediction put the token back in focus. Three indicators have aligned at once, drawing attention from traders tracking both chart patterns and on-chain data.
XRP Price
YoungHoon Kim, the verified world record holder for the highest IQ at 276, posted on X that the XRP Supercycle is “only just beginning.” The post spread quickly across crypto communities and reignited discussion around XRP’s long-term price trajectory.
Kim had previously stated a price target of $5 to $10 for XRP this cycle. From current levels near $1.05, reaching $5 would require roughly a 376% gain. Hitting $10 would mean a gain of around 852%.
Not everyone agrees with Kim’s outlook. Several users on X pushed back, noting that his past XRP predictions have not played out. Others questioned his credibility and the basis for his $10 target.
XRP is still down roughly 67% from its July 2025 all-time high of $3.66. That gap makes the upper end of Kim’s target a steep climb from where the token sits today.
Analyst Ali Charts flagged that the Tom DeMark Sequential indicator printed a “9” buy signal on the XRP daily chart. This reading often appears near the end of a downtrend and can precede short-term price recoveries lasting one to four candles.
A Morning Star Doji candlestick pattern also formed across three sessions near the $1.02 to $1.07 support zone. The pattern points to a potential short-term bottom in price action.
The third signal is on-chain. Daily active addresses on the XRP Ledger rose from around 23,000 on June 14 to nearly 39,500 in recent days, suggesting real network activity rather than speculative noise alone.
Analyst ChartNerdTA pointed out that XRP’s cycle tops have historically come every three to five years. If a cycle bottom forms in 2026, the next potential top could arrive between 2028 and 2030.
XRP’s market cap remains above $65 billion, according to CoinGecko. Institutional demand has stayed active, with ETF products tied to XRP pulling in $11.88 million in a single day on May 29.
Total net inflows into XRP investment products reached approximately $1.42 billion in 2026, making it the strongest ETF inflow period for the token so far.
For a near-term move higher to be confirmed, analysts say XRP would need sustained buying volume and a clean break above resistance near $1.30.
