TLDR

  • KAIO brings tokenized BlackRock and Brevan Howard funds to Sei Network.
  • Institutional funds go onchain: KAIO & Sei launch tokenized finance era.
  • Tokenized BlackRock BUIDL and BH Fund now live on fast, secure Sei chain.
  • KAIO unlocks 24/7 onchain access to top-tier funds via Sei integration.
  • Tokenized funds meet DeFi: BlackRock and Brevan Howard go blockchain.

KAIO has expanded its tokenized fund ecosystem by launching new offerings on the Sei Network. The integration introduces tokenized fund access to BlackRock and Brevan Howard products, converting traditional assets into fully onchain instruments. This move accelerates capital market modernization while embedding real-time compliance, transparency, and programmability.

The expansion reflects the growing momentum around regulated tokenized funds within blockchain finance. Through Sei’s high-speed, secure architecture, KAIO now supports low-volatility digital funds with institutional-grade design. The offering enhances accessibility, reduces operational friction, and unlocks programmable fund mechanics for broader capital allocation strategies.

Using tokenized fund models, KAIO brings mainstream financial instruments to blockchain, streamlining treasury operations and enabling collateral integration across decentralized finance. It also enables 24/7 fund settlement and real-time reporting, ensuring improved liquidity and enhanced risk control. The infrastructure’s compliant framework embeds KYC and AML protocols for seamless onboarding.

BlackRock’s BUIDL Fund Gains Onchain Utility

The initiative includes the tokenized version of BlackRock’s BUIDL, one of the most significant dollar liquidity funds globally. KAIO transforms this fund into a secure, programmable token, now tradable on the Sei Network. Users can engage with the fund onchain, unlocking constant composability with digital finance applications.

This tokenized fund supports stablecoin ecosystems and can serve as a yield-bearing reserve within broader DeFi protocols. Its onchain nature enhances liquidity while simplifying redemption and allocation cycles. BlackRock’s participation emphasizes the mainstream shift toward blockchain-integrated capital markets.

By leveraging Sei’s transaction capacity and KAIO’s infrastructure, the fund delivers superior speed and transparency versus traditional fund platforms. Asset holders benefit from uninterrupted access and streamlined workflows. The tokenized fund structure ensures full regulatory alignment and operational control for institutional usage.

Brevan Howard Launches Digital Liquidity Fund

Brevan Howard’s BH Digital Liquidity Fund also enters the tokenized fund ecosystem via this integration. KAIO now supports access to this macro fund through a compliant, onchain framework designed for real-time finance. The fund gains enhanced flexibility and settlement precision within Sei’s ecosystem.

With KAIO’s platform, the tokenized fund enables advanced automation in reporting, capital movement and compliance monitoring. This enhances the user experience while ensuring that institutional standards are consistently maintained throughout the entire lifecycle. The transition to tokenization lowers fund operation costs and enhances real-world asset management.

Brevan Howard’s move aligns with ongoing trends of blending traditional finance with blockchain-based tools. Through tokenized fund capabilities, the firm increases access while retaining institutional rigor. The integration supports new capital strategies focused on agility and real-time responsiveness.

The GENIUS Act Is Already Law. Banks Shouldn’t Try to Rewrite It Now

The post The GENIUS Act Is Already Law. Banks Shouldn’t Try to Rewrite It Now appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Healthy competition drives innovation and better products for consumers; it is at the center of American economic leadership. Unfortunately, now that the bipartisan GENIUS Act has been signed into law, major legacy financial institutions seem to be having second thoughts about the innovations that stablecoins can bring to financial markets. Bank lobbying groups and public affairs teams have been peppering Congress with complaints about the law, urging members to reopen debate and introduce changes to the legislation that will ensure the stablecoin market doesn’t grow too quickly, protecting banks’ profits and stifling consumer choice. This reactionary response is both overblown and unnecessary. What legacy financial firms should do instead is embrace competition and offer exciting new products and services that consumers want, not try to kneecap emerging players through anti-innovation rules and regulations. The GENIUS Act was carefully designed with a thorough bipartisan process to strengthen consumer safeguards, ensure regulatory oversight, and preserve financial stability. Efforts to roll back its provisions are less about protecting families and more about protecting entrenched banking interests from the competition that helps ensure the U.S. banking system stays the strongest and most innovative in the world. Critics warn that allowing stablecoins to provide rewards could lead to massive deposit outflows from community banks, with figures as high as $6.6 trillion cited. But closer examination shows this fear is unfounded. A July 2025 analysis by consulting firm Charles River Associates found no statistically significant relationship between stablecoin adoption and community bank deposit outflows. In fact, the overwhelming majority of stablecoin reserves remain in the traditional financial system — either in commercial bank accounts or in short-term Treasuries — where they continue to support liquidity and credit in the broader U.S. economy. The dire estimates rely on unrealistic assumptions that every dollar of stablecoin issuance permanently…
