TLDR:

  • WisdomTree integrated Chainlink DataLink to bring NAV data onchain for its CRDT tokenized private credit fund.
  • The onchain NAV feed delivers cryptographically verified and publicly auditable pricing data on Ethereum.
  • CRDT tracks a private credit index, providing DeFi access to verified NAV data for automated integrations.
  • The partnership shows how Chainlink infrastructure is powering institutional-grade tokenized fund data flows.

Transparency is moving onchain. WisdomTree is teaming up with Chainlink to publish real-time NAV data for its Private Credit and Alternative Income Digital Fund (CRDT).

The move brings verified fund pricing directly to the Ethereum blockchain. It’s a leap toward turning traditional finance data into live, auditable onchain feeds. The collaboration signals how regulated tokenized funds are starting to merge with decentralized infrastructure.

WisdomTree confirmed through a press release, that it will use Chainlink’s DataLink Services to publish NAV data for its CRDT fund on Ethereum. The integration delivers cryptographically verified and publicly auditable fund pricing, accessible directly onchain.

The initiative aims to enhance transparency for tokenized real-world assets, a step that aligns with WisdomTree’s broader push into blockchain-based investment products. The firm said that the automated data flow would bring more integrity and accessibility to fund information, allowing investors and DeFi protocols to interact with verified pricing in real time.

CRDT, which launched in September 2025, tracks the Gapstow Private Credit and Alternative Income Index and offers exposure to diversified private credit and alternative income assets. By publishing NAV data onchain, the fund allows for potential smart contract integrations across DeFi platforms.

According to the announcement, the collaboration represents the first live implementation of onchain NAV transparency for a regulated tokenized private credit fund. It’s designed to enable institutional platforms and DeFi applications to reference verified fund data without depending on traditional intermediaries.

Maredith Hannon, Head of Business Development for Digital Assets at WisdomTree, said the initiative reinforces the company’s vision of merging regulated investment products with blockchain infrastructure. She described the integration as a way to strengthen trust and support responsible DeFi innovation through transparent data practices.

Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov said that WisdomTree’s integration demonstrates how decentralized data infrastructure is now powering institutional fund workflows. He added that such collaborations show how asset managers can operate tokenized funds using blockchain-native systems for price verification and reporting.

The new setup allows NAV data from CRDT to flow automatically to Ethereum via decentralized oracle networks, ensuring cryptographic verification. With this feed now live, DeFi protocols can use WisdomTree’s fund pricing directly in smart contracts, potentially unlocking automated lending, yield aggregation, and portfolio management features.

WisdomTree’s collaboration with Chainlink is expected to expand beyond CRDT, with future integrations across its broader range of tokenized funds. The company described this as part of its roadmap to bring regulated assets into digital finance ecosystems.

Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC

The post Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson has weighed in on whether the Federal Reserve should make a 25 basis points (bps) Fed rate cut or 50 bps cut. This comes ahead of the Fed decision today at today’s FOMC meeting, with the market pricing in a 25 bps cut. Bitcoin and the broader crypto market are currently trading flat ahead of the rate cut decision. Franklin Templeton CEO Weighs In On Potential FOMC Decision In a CNBC interview, Jenny Johnson said that she expects the Fed to make a 25 bps cut today instead of a 50 bps cut. She acknowledged the jobs data, which suggested that the labor market is weakening. However, she noted that this data is backward-looking, indicating that it doesn’t show the current state of the economy. She alluded to the wage growth, which she remarked is an indication of a robust labor market. She added that retail sales are up and that consumers are still spending, despite inflation being sticky at 3%, which makes a case for why the FOMC should opt against a 50-basis-point Fed rate cut. In line with this, the Franklin Templeton CEO said that she would go with a 25 bps rate cut if she were Jerome Powell. She remarked that the Fed still has the October and December FOMC meetings to make further cuts if the incoming data warrants it. Johnson also asserted that the data show a robust economy. However, she noted that there can’t be an argument for no Fed rate cut since Powell already signaled at Jackson Hole that they were likely to lower interest rates at this meeting due to concerns over a weakening labor market. Notably, her comment comes as experts argue for both sides on why the Fed should make a 25 bps cut or…
