$10M GTD Winter Series Starts on CoinPoker

With Christmas already behind us and the final days of the year drawing closer, many poker enthusiasts are turning their thoughts to how best to make the most of the remaining holiday season.

That’s exactly where CoinPoker comes in, rolling out one of the most lucrative online tournament series ever with a staggering $10 million prize pool.

Dubbed the “Winter Festival,” this large-scale event officially kicked off today, December 26, 2025, and will run non-stop till January 26, 2026, delivering a full month of intense, real-money poker action.

At its core lie three major phases – Holiday Turbo Mini Series, Fresh Start Week, and Winter Masters Series – opening up a clean opportunity for every player to compete for life-changing sums, irrespective of their bankroll and skill levels.

As the action heats up, with legendary names already lining up to participate, the month-long tournament promises elite competition from start to finish.

More Details About Winter Festival

CoinPoker is building on its reputation as a go-to hub for world-class tournaments with the unveiling of the Winter Festival.

Regarded as the largest-ever poker series to run on the site, this event is specially structured to cater to the cravings of everyone – be it serious grinders or casual gamblers.

For example, it comes packed with a wide range of poker formats, including No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, and Turbo, ensuring there’s something for everyone, regardless of the skill level.

Beyond the guaranteed $10 million prize pool, players will also benefit from $200,000 in added value through satellites, leaderboards, and Second Chance Flipouts.

Best of all, the promo is accessible to everyone, including newcomers and existing players on CoinPoker’s newly upgraded mobile site, removing the hassle of installing software.

That being said, let’s take a moment to explain each of the three stages tied to the Winter Festival, highlighting their participation details.

Holiday Turbo Mini Series (December 26-30)

The Holiday Turbo Mini Series, kicking off today, ushers in the Winter Festival and will run for five consecutive days, giving players a level playing field to compete for seats at the Winter Masters Series scheduled for January.

But here’s how it works – every player who participates in a minimum of three Holiday Turbo Mini series in any of the buy-in tier (low, medium, or high) will qualify for Second Chance Flipouts, which offer exclusive tickets to the coveted finale.

Not less than $5,000 in tickets will be won each day of the Turbo series, except Sunday, the 28th, when the offer increases to $10,000.

Players can win as many as Second Chance Flipout entries as possible as long as they meet the requirements. For example, a player who participates in three low-tier events, three medium-tier events, and three high-tier events stand the chance to win three Second Chance Flipout tickets.

Meanwhile, CoinMasters will be temporarily adjusted to 8-minute levels, while the prize pool of its flagship event (Bitcoin tournament) will be supercharged to $125,000.

Fresh Start Week (December 31-January 7)

From the final day of 2025 through the seventh day of the new year, micro-stakes players can grab their seats at the Winter Masters Series for a fraction of the regular buy-in.

Throughout this period, not less than $50,000 in tickets will be shared, while players can also anticipate $20,000 in added prizes on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, plus multiple satellites.

Winter Master Series (January 8-26)

Central to the Winter Festival is the Masters Series, which alone commands a whopping $8 million guaranteed prize pool.

The showdown ticks all the right boxes in terms of game formats, covering 6-max events, Turbos, classic structures, PKOs, and deep stacks.

To ensure widespread accessibility, the tournament is scheduled to start running from 11:00AM to 10:00PM everyday.

There are three main events in total, and they include:

  • $500 High Tier Main Event with $250,000 GTD
  • $75 Mid Tier Main Event with $75,000 GTD
  • $15 Low Tier Main Event with $20,000 GTD

Players can also take advantage of the additional $100,000 leaderboard to optimize their potential winnings. The leaderboard is split into three tiers as well:

  • $10,000 for Low Tier Buy-Ins
  • $30,000 for Medium Tier Buy-Ins
  • $60,000 for High Tier Buy-Ins

Rankings will be based on each player’s best 10 tournament results.

Players can equally follow up with the festival through CoinPoker’s social media channels, especially on X, Instagram, and YouTube.
