Lunar Strategy partners with Sigma Prime to meet the increasing need for stronger ties between technical security and effective marketing. This partnership seeks to close the gap in today’s rapidly evolving decentralized finance and Web3 landscape, which requires both credibility and visibility.

With their position as a prominent web3 marketing agency, they plan to leverage their respective assets towards providing clients with top-tier products and services by working together. This partnership aims to provide an integrated solution to eliminate the friction between the completion of an audit (which includes security validation) and market launch.

Building a New Paradigm of Institutional-Grade Security

This association revolves around embedding the entire Sigma Prime security audit into Lunar Strategy. Sigma Prime has built a solid reputation in Ethereum and blockchain security, known for delivering solutions rather than just talking about them. Their contributions to Lighthouse, the open-source Ethereum consensus client, truly highlight their capabilities.

Lunar Strategy is addressing the “trust deficit” in Web3, utilizing Sigma Prime’s knowledge to benefit its clients. This move underscores their commitment to building trust between projects and the people who invest in them. Given how much hype there was around the crypto market before it crashed, projects must now prove they can provide deep-level technical validation of their product to attract institutional and sophisticated retail investors. This partnership will ensure that security is baked into the very foundation of each project, rather than just something that is added after the fact.

The Synergy of Security and Storytelling

This partnership has a very innovative approach to what they have defined as “marketing amplification”, specifically focused on the audit process. Security audits are usually a tedious PDF stored away in the project documentation; this partnership will change this by creating a bridge between the credibility of the audit and awareness of the brands involved.

Both companies will work together in concert to assist projects in using their security milestones as key elements of their marketing campaigns. This transformation of a successful audit into a powerful story to create shareholder confidence in the community and gain momentum in the marketplace will be driven by a combination of outputs that come from both companies. This indicates an overall trend in industry where security and transparency have become a key competitive edge.

Coordinated Go-to-Market Execution

The collaboration will create a complete “Go-to-Market” strategy tailored for the entire lifecycle of a Web3 launch. By providing a single source of contact for everything from contract security to community building and media relations, the two companies aim to streamline the launch process for emerging projects. This methodology mitigates the difficulties inherent in projects that must navigate the complexities of disparate security and marketing vendors, whose lack of coordination can be problematic.

The Web3 era, characterized by its “move fast and break things” ethos, is evolving into a more developed “secure and scale” paradigm, driven by increasing regulatory scrutiny and the growing sophistication of users. Industry analyses of blockchain security trends suggest that incorporating security measures throughout the development and marketing processes has transitioned from a mere option to a critical necessity for enduring expansion.

Conclusion

This partnership represents a significant advancement in the web3 field, helping to establish its credibility. With their combination of technical skills and marketing expertise, they are setting out a plan for projects to begin developing safely while having an impact on their audience. In a time where the security of a project can be the primary “success/failure” determining factor, this partnership provides a huge advantage to anyone trying to traverse today’s complicated blockchain ecosystem.

The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The post The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Visions of future technology are often prescient about the broad strokes while flubbing the details. The tablets in “2001: A Space Odyssey” do indeed look like iPads, but you never see the astronauts paying for subscriptions or wasting hours on Candy Crush.  Channel factories are one vision that arose early in the history of the Lightning Network to address some challenges that Lightning has faced from the beginning. Despite having grown to become Bitcoin’s most successful layer-2 scaling solution, with instant and low-fee payments, Lightning’s scale is limited by its reliance on payment channels. Although Lightning shifts most transactions off-chain, each payment channel still requires an on-chain transaction to open and (usually) another to close. As adoption grows, pressure on the blockchain grows with it. The need for a more scalable approach to managing channels is clear. Channel factories were supposed to meet this need, but where are they? In 2025, subnetworks are emerging that revive the impetus of channel factories with some new details that vastly increase their potential. They are natively interoperable with Lightning and achieve greater scale by allowing a group of participants to open a shared multisig UTXO and create multiple bilateral channels, which reduces the number of on-chain transactions and improves capital efficiency. Achieving greater scale by reducing complexity, Ark and Spark perform the same function as traditional channel factories with new designs and additional capabilities based on shared UTXOs.  Channel Factories 101 Channel factories have been around since the inception of Lightning. A factory is a multiparty contract where multiple users (not just two, as in a Dryja-Poon channel) cooperatively lock funds in a single multisig UTXO. They can open, close and update channels off-chain without updating the blockchain for each operation. Only when participants leave or the factory dissolves is an on-chain transaction…
