Ethereum's energy consumption drops by 99.99% on its third anniversary

PANews reported on September 15 that Ethereum’s official Twitter account stated that three years ago today, Ethereum completed a merge upgrade, switching from Proof-of-Work to Proof-of-Stake , reducing energy consumption by approximately 99.99% , laying the foundation for future scalability.
