Aether Holdings, a financial technology focused on the development of data-driven platforms, and OORTech Inc., a global decentralized artificial intelligence (AI) data cloud company, have partnered to form a joint venture by the name Aether DataHub, LLC, according to a press release.
The two entities will both contribute through infrastructure and expertise to pioneer this financial AI data-labeling and dataset-collection platform.

Aether Holdings touts financial media expertise, which spans across user engagement, proprietary distribution, a growing subscription audience, and investor relations. OORT pulls more weight on the infrastructure side with its decentralized labeling architecture that enjoys support from a global network of contributors.
Aether DataHub launches at a time when financial AI is at an inflection point, with builders facing challenges in accessing quality domain-specific data, validation, and scaling training data. The platform is designed to produce institutional-grade training data, which is fundamental for training the next generation of specialized LLMs and financial AI applications.
Nicolas Lin, Chief Executive Officer of Aether Holdings, also commented on the growing demand for quality data in AI development, highlighting that “The next frontier of financial intelligence depends entirely on the quality and integrity of the underlying data.”
The announcement further detailed that the Aether DataHub aims to achieve its value proposition through four main features.
A data-centric AI strategy that prioritizes data quality as the key driver of how AI infrastructures perform, while addressing the global shortage of verifiable datasets, particularly in the financial space. Through the partnership, Aether DataHub will leverage OORT’s end-to-end infrastructure; this includes the DataHub platform and a globally-focused contributor community that powers the OORT decentralized AI stack.
The joint venture also highlights an institutional commercialization approach that will lay the ground for the establishment of a proprietary data layer as part of Aether’s internal AI roadmap, and plans to offer enterprise clients a scalable data service offering.
In addition to leveraging both Aether’s and OORT’s existing infrastructure, the Aether DataHub also brings together Aether’s 400,000+ subscriber base with OORT’s decentralized global network of contributors and other ecosystem participants.
