SWIFT Partners With Ethereum’s ConsenSys on Real-Time Payments Blockchain: Best Cryptocurrency to Invest in Today

The announcement that SWIFT is partnering with Ethereum’s ConsenSys to build a real-time blockchain payments network is a watershed moment in the history of international finance. One that solidifies blockchain’s position as not some niche tech but a cornerstone of payment networks to be.

As this unfolds a new DeFi altcoin, Mutuum Finance (MUTM), has taken the spotlight as the best crypto to invest in today. Priced at just $0.035 in Phase 6 of its presale and already over 60% sold out, Mutuum Finance is built on legitimate utility, utilizing an audited dual-lending model that seeks to address real problems in decentralized finance. As incumbent institutions embrace the blockchain, Mutuum Finance is not just poised to benefit from this trend, but to lead it, making it one of the most compelling crypto opportunities heading into 2025.

SWIFT Collaborates With ConsenSys for Disrupting Cross-Border Payments

SWIFT is taking a substantial leap into blockchain technology in its strategic alliance with ConsenSys and 30 big financial institutions, including Bank of America, Citi, and JP Morgan, to design a blockchain-based proof-of-concept for real-time cross-border payments. The project will leverage a secure ledger and smart contracts to settle and validate transactions, and it has the potential to transform the speed, transparency, and efficiency of international settlements.

Although it is still uncertain whether the solution will be on the Ethereum mainnet or Linea Layer-2, the shift testifies to a growing institutional shift towards decentralized infrastructure. And now that traditional finance is embracing blockchain at scale, investors are increasingly turning to promising new projects that are positioned to thrive in this new financial order, a discussion that invariably turns to Mutuum Finance (MUTM).

Mutuum Finance Presale Momentum Gathers Steam

Mutuum Finance is creating a massive hype during its presale stage, with over $16.9 million already raised and over 16,800 investors signed up. Its tokens for Phase 6 are available at $0.035 per MUTM, which indicates growing demand and faith in the project.

As an incentive to the early users, Mutuum Finance has launched a $100,000 giveaway in which 10 users will get $10,000 each in MUTM tokens, inviting early adoption and usage.

The protocol carries a floating interest rate mechanism that optimizes liquidity utilization. Loan participation and borrowing are incentivized during good times of high liquidity and low interest rates, and loan repayment and new capital entry are incentivized during times of high demand and high interest rates. Fixed-rate mechanisms complement stable levels of liquidity, naturally adjusting to the market’s oscillations without disrupting the overall equilibrium of the ecosystem.

Mutuum Finance Unveils Lending & Borrowing Protocol

Mutuum Finance is set to launch a lending and borrowing protocol, a huge milestone in fleshing out its decentralized finance ecosystem. Version 1 (V1) will launch on the Sepolia Testnet in Q4 2025 with features that will include a liquidity pool, mtToken, debt token, and liquidator bot.

ETH and USDT will be the first cryptocurrencies to be activated for borrowing, lending, and collateralization, providing users with a secure, efficient, and frictionless DeFi experience at launch.

In order to accomplish accurate pricing and risk management, Mutuum Finance leverages Chainlink oracles to retrieve real-time USD and base crypto prices, including ETH, MATIC, and AVAX. Fallback oracle mechanisms, composite data feeds, and decentralized exchange TWAPs are employed by the platform in a bid to deliver high-quality, consistent valuations even in the event of unprecedented illiquidity or stress in the markets.

Mutuum Finance (MUTM) Emerges as a Top Buy in 2025

As SWIFT partners with ConsenSys to trial real-time blockchain payments, crypto institutional adoption accelerates. While others chase hype coins, Mutuum Finance (MUTM) offers real use cases at just $0.035, with over 60% of Phase 6 presale sold, generating $16.9M from 16,800+ investors.

MUTM features a dual lending model, floating interest rates, and a next-generation lending/borrowing protocol launching on the Sepolia Testnet in Q4 2025. With ETH and USDT covered from day one and Chainlink oracles ensuring precise pricing, MUTM is a working, high-upside DeFi project for 2025.

The GENIUS Act Is Already Law. Banks Shouldn’t Try to Rewrite It Now

The post The GENIUS Act Is Already Law. Banks Shouldn’t Try to Rewrite It Now appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Healthy competition drives innovation and better products for consumers; it is at the center of American economic leadership. Unfortunately, now that the bipartisan GENIUS Act has been signed into law, major legacy financial institutions seem to be having second thoughts about the innovations that stablecoins can bring to financial markets. Bank lobbying groups and public affairs teams have been peppering Congress with complaints about the law, urging members to reopen debate and introduce changes to the legislation that will ensure the stablecoin market doesn’t grow too quickly, protecting banks’ profits and stifling consumer choice. This reactionary response is both overblown and unnecessary. What legacy financial firms should do instead is embrace competition and offer exciting new products and services that consumers want, not try to kneecap emerging players through anti-innovation rules and regulations. The GENIUS Act was carefully designed with a thorough bipartisan process to strengthen consumer safeguards, ensure regulatory oversight, and preserve financial stability. Efforts to roll back its provisions are less about protecting families and more about protecting entrenched banking interests from the competition that helps ensure the U.S. banking system stays the strongest and most innovative in the world. Critics warn that allowing stablecoins to provide rewards could lead to massive deposit outflows from community banks, with figures as high as $6.6 trillion cited. But closer examination shows this fear is unfounded. A July 2025 analysis by consulting firm Charles River Associates found no statistically significant relationship between stablecoin adoption and community bank deposit outflows. In fact, the overwhelming majority of stablecoin reserves remain in the traditional financial system — either in commercial bank accounts or in short-term Treasuries — where they continue to support liquidity and credit in the broader U.S. economy. The dire estimates rely on unrealistic assumptions that every dollar of stablecoin issuance permanently…
