A hooded figure helped the heels win the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series WarGames 2025. It was a far bloodier WarGames match that also incorporated a table. WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2025 Highlights | Men’s WarGames

  • CM Punk faced off with Bron Breakker to (unofficially) begin the men’s WarGames match. Punk and Breakker went toe-to-toe as Petco Park did its impression of the pets of all the dog-owners in the building.
  • Punk and Breakker started slow as Breakker outmuscled Punk early, but then Breakker ran, at record speed, into a heel kick. Punk followed up with an axe handle splash. Breakker quickly took over after a belly-to-belly suplex.
  • Drew McIntyre was out next as CM Punk’s arch nemesis stormed to the ring with a purpose. The two did not break each others’ gaze for McIntyre’s entire walk to the ring.
  • McIntyre and Punk wasted on time fighting each other, but Punk faced a two-on-one disadvantage when Bron Breakker came to. Breakker and McIntyre teamed up for a double lawn dart into the cage. As the two heels dominated Punk, Cody Rhodes ran out next. Rhodes climbed the chair and hit a cross body block on McIntyre.
  • Punk and Rhodes had a disagreement after Rhodes accidentally hit Punk. They quickly got back on the same page with a Hart Attack on McIntyre. They then hit a Doomsday Device on Breakker, who landed directly on his neck. Thankfully, Breakker was okay.
  • Logan Paul was out next in NWO-inspired gear. Fans exploded in boos for the top heel and chanted “Logan sucks!” McIntyre held Cody Rhodes as Paul peppered him with punches. Breakker reentered the fray, but was discarded by Rhodes.
  • Cody and Logan battled atop the steel cage, going back-and-forth with punches. Logan got the better of Cody Rhodes as the heels kept the advantage.
  • Jimmy Uso was out next. He pulled out a table, which received almost as big of a pop as John Cena. Jimmy cleared house and received a huge pop before Drew McIntyre took over the match.
  • The heels regained the advantage, despite WarGames being three-on-three. Breakker hit an impressive Breakkensteiner on a slightly bloody Cody Rhodes.
  • Bronson Reed walked out and piled on with not one, not two but three Tsunamis on the babyfaces. Breakker squashed the babyfaces in the corner and against the cage. Huge heat. This was turning into a lowkey massacre. The heel-advantage model has always been more effective than the babyface-advantage model used in the women’s match. This was no exception.
  • Jey Uso entered the fray and helped his teammates rally against the heels. The Usos had a super kick party capped off by a 1D on Logan Paul.
  • With the babyfaces standing tall, Jey Uso ran it back with a Yeet celebration, mid WarGames. The celebration was interrupted by Brock Lesnar. Lesnar did Lesnar things as he suplexed all the babyfaces and added individual F-5’s just to be sure. WarGames looked like a crime scene by the end of Lesnar’s assault.
  • Fans popped as the countdown started because now it was Roman Reigns’ turn. Lesnar was the last man standing and he eagerly awaited the Tribal Chief’s arrival. In fact, Brock left the cage and approached Reigns during his entrance. Reigns responded with three Superman Punches. Lesnar caught Roman on the fourth and hit an F-5 through the announce table.
  • The WarGames began as Lesnar drug Reigns into the ring. Rhodes broke up a Lesnar pinfall on Reigns. Rhodes and Punk both hit their finishers on Lesnar. Paul Heyman slipped Logan Paul brass knuckles, and Mav went crazy with the KO punches.
  • Roman Reigns speared Logan Paul and stole the brass knuckles. He didn’t need them. After Lesnar teased an F-5 on Jey Uso, Roman speared Lesnar through the table.
  • A hooded figure appeared in the cage. The hooded figure hit a Stomp on Punk a la Seth Rollins, but did not unmask. Breakker hit a spear on CM Punk for the win.
  • Punk and Reigns shared a fist pound after the match. Cody helped himself to his feet and got into Roman’s face. Survivor Series went off the air with no reveal of the hooded figure. Petco Park was pissed.

What’s Next For WWE Survivor Series WarGames Men’s Combatants? Is Chris Jericho Returning?

Bron Breakker pinned the WWE World Heavyweight champion, putting him on the short list of very likely WrestleMania main eventers. Breakker is even more likely to win the 2025 Royal Rumble match, and could possibly face off against Brock Lesnar in another Paul Heyman invitational like last year’s WrestleMania 41 main event on Night 1.

The hooded figure did not reveal themselves, much to the anger and chagrin of the live audience. This will be one of the major mysteries in WWE headed into WrestleMania season. The hooded figure also figures to be a fixture in the WrestleMania picture, possibly with a main event spot as well. Was it Seth Rollins? Was it Chris Jericho? Fans will have to stay tuned to find out.

The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The post The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Visions of future technology are often prescient about the broad strokes while flubbing the details. The tablets in “2001: A Space Odyssey” do indeed look like iPads, but you never see the astronauts paying for subscriptions or wasting hours on Candy Crush.  Channel factories are one vision that arose early in the history of the Lightning Network to address some challenges that Lightning has faced from the beginning. Despite having grown to become Bitcoin’s most successful layer-2 scaling solution, with instant and low-fee payments, Lightning’s scale is limited by its reliance on payment channels. Although Lightning shifts most transactions off-chain, each payment channel still requires an on-chain transaction to open and (usually) another to close. As adoption grows, pressure on the blockchain grows with it. The need for a more scalable approach to managing channels is clear. Channel factories were supposed to meet this need, but where are they? In 2025, subnetworks are emerging that revive the impetus of channel factories with some new details that vastly increase their potential. They are natively interoperable with Lightning and achieve greater scale by allowing a group of participants to open a shared multisig UTXO and create multiple bilateral channels, which reduces the number of on-chain transactions and improves capital efficiency. Achieving greater scale by reducing complexity, Ark and Spark perform the same function as traditional channel factories with new designs and additional capabilities based on shared UTXOs.  Channel Factories 101 Channel factories have been around since the inception of Lightning. A factory is a multiparty contract where multiple users (not just two, as in a Dryja-Poon channel) cooperatively lock funds in a single multisig UTXO. They can open, close and update channels off-chain without updating the blockchain for each operation. Only when participants leave or the factory dissolves is an on-chain transaction…

BlackRock boosts AI and US equity exposure in $185 billion models

The post BlackRock boosts AI and US equity exposure in $185 billion models appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. BlackRock is steering $185 billion worth of model portfolios deeper into US stocks and artificial intelligence. The decision came this week as the asset manager adjusted its entire model suite, increasing its equity allocation and dumping exposure to international developed markets. The firm now sits 2% overweight on stocks, after money moved between several of its biggest exchange-traded funds. This wasn’t a slow shuffle. Billions flowed across multiple ETFs on Tuesday as BlackRock executed the realignment. The iShares S&P 100 ETF (OEF) alone brought in $3.4 billion, the largest single-day haul in its history. The iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV) collected $2.3 billion, while the iShares US Equity Factor Rotation Active ETF (DYNF) added nearly $2 billion. The rebalancing triggered swift inflows and outflows that realigned investor exposure on the back of performance data and macroeconomic outlooks. BlackRock raises equities on strong US earnings The model updates come as BlackRock backs the rally in American stocks, fueled by strong earnings and optimism around rate cuts. In an investment letter obtained by Bloomberg, the firm said US companies have delivered 11% earnings growth since the third quarter of 2024. Meanwhile, earnings across other developed markets barely touched 2%. That gap helped push the decision to drop international holdings in favor of American ones. Michael Gates, lead portfolio manager for BlackRock’s Target Allocation ETF model portfolio suite, said the US market is the only one showing consistency in sales growth, profit delivery, and revisions in analyst forecasts. “The US equity market continues to stand alone in terms of earnings delivery, sales growth and sustainable trends in analyst estimates and revisions,” Michael wrote. He added that non-US developed markets lagged far behind, especially when it came to sales. This week’s changes reflect that position. The move was made ahead of the Federal…
