As Terra proceeds to create a new chain, Terra 2.0, the current Terra Chain will soon be rebranded as Terra Classic, and MEXC will be renaming LUNA and UST tokens accordingly. The token ticker of LUNA and UST will be updated to LUNC and USTC.
Further details about this change are shown in the timeline below:

At 2022-05-26 04:00 (UTC), MEXC will close all LUNA & UST margin positions, conduct an automatic settlement and cancel all pending LUNA & UST margin orders, and then delist the LUNA/USDT & UST/USDT isolated margin trading pair. A separate announcement will be made for relisting.

At 2022-05-25 16:00 (UTC), MEXC will suspend LUNA/USDT & UST/USDT isolated margin borrowing.
- At 2022-05-26 04:00 (UTC), MEXC will delist the LUNA/USDT & UST/USDT spot trading pair and cancel all pending LUNA & UST spot orders.
- At 2022-05-26 02:00 (UTC), deposits and withdrawals of LUNA & UST will be suspended. Please ensure that you leave sufficient time for your LUNA & UST deposits to be fully processed prior to this time.
- At 2022-05-26 08:00 (UTC), trading will then open for LUNC/USDT & USTC/USDT spot trading pair.
- MEXC will make a separate announcement after the token migration is complete to notify users when deposits and withdrawals of LUNC & USTC will open.
