Why Do Reviews List Different Leverage Caps for Toobit?
Because Toobit's cap has moved: its announcements put BTC perpetuals at 175x in December 2024 and 200x from June 2025, and a September 2026 press release cites up to 500x on some stock futures.
Toobit also says it can change maximum leverage without a separate announcement, and it points traders to the trading screen for current caps.
Reviews written at different points on that timeline therefore quote 150x, 200x or 500x, and each can be right for its date and market.
Cryptonews has also reported Toobit's move to 200x on ETHUSDT perpetuals.
MEXC's 500x tier on BTCUSDT and ETHUSDT has sat in one official announcement since April 23, 2025, alongside 250x on SOL, XRP, DOGE and ADA USDT pairs.
The same announcement leaves out ten regions, among them the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, and keeps copy trading below those tiers.

Its average spot spread on CoinGecko that day was 0.365%, against MEXC's 0.939%.
Its perpetual list includes stock, gold, silver and oil contracts, and its website also offers copy trading, trading bots, event contracts and a prediction market.
MEXC offers stock futures as well, so the difference there is emphasis rather than access.

Both carried a 9/10 CoinGecko Trust Score on September 24, 2026, and CoinGecko records no incident for either.
Their regulatory records differ, however, and each detail below comes from the source named in its own sentence, from CoinGecko to the Seychelles regulator.
